About
Currently I am in my sandwich(placement) year at Portsmouth University studying BSc Computing (Hons) hoping to qualify in 2011. In October 2008 I started looking for placements and after a few interviews and a couple more job offers I finally accepted IBM in Janurary 2009 as a Systems Engineer based in Hursley which starts June 2009.
This site was originally set up for diasplaying my portfolio but after a site crash last year i decided to host a blog on here instead!
I have a wide array of interests both indoor and outdoor so I’m not all computer geek! When not in university I reside on the Isle of Wight, South England.
Systems: (basic info)
In case anyone cares:
- Main PC (Quad Core Q6600 – The original quad 
) 2.6ghz , 2gb DDR2 RAM (downgraded due to problem), ~1tb space. 512mb 8500GT (it runs all games including Crysis so dont have a reason to upgrade!) + Creative surround sound. Vista Ultimate.
- Laptop: HP Compaq 6910p business notebook @ 2ghz / 2gb RAM / bluetooth, IrDa, biometric security, 128mb GFX, 14inch portable model. (This is my main computer really, it only has 2gb RAM but is faster than most Dell’s with 4gb

- Laptop 2: IBM Lenovo Thinkpad T61p business notebook Intel Centrino Dual Core 2.6Ghz (T9500) Nvidia Quadro FX 512mb GFX. 17in widescreen, 3gb DDR2 RAM, 160gb HDD, w/ dock (My beast of a machine for work ) XP Pro.
